LA28 Olympic Games Qualification System Announced
The Olympic Qualification System (OQS) for squash at the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games has been approved by the IOC Executive Board and formally announced. In squash’s Olympic debut, the men’s and women’s singles events will each feature 16-athlete draws, to be staged at the Comcast Squash Center at Universal Studios.
The Olympic Qualification System outlines five qualification routes (subject to conditions): Continental Games, a host country quota, PSA World Rankings, universality places, and a final world qualifying tournament. Places will be distributed to balance selection of the best athletes with broad National Olympic Committee representation.
