Ladies squash evenings 2026/2027
The final evening for 2026 will more than likely be held at Abingdon Squash Club on December 9th 2026.
If anyone would like to host one at their club then that would be amazing. Please do get in touch if you are considering it and we can have a chat.

Helen arranges matches with players of a similar standard depending on who signs up. Ladies then stay afterwards for food, a drink and a chat. The cost for each evening is £12.00* which includes your match fee, a meal and a drink. The venue is usually shared between Abingdon Squash Club and The Park Sports Centre in Wheatley.
Every session is open to ladies from any club and of any standard and everyone is welcome.

Farewell to Racquets, Thame
It was a packed and fun final Ladies evening at Racquets, Thame recently, for the first time the evening was fully booked with keen ladies from around the county. Matches were closely fought and friends were made and it was great to see lots of new faces. It is a shame to have to say goodbye to Racquets, but many of the ladies will continue to play in their new venue at The Park Sports Centre in Wheatley.
County Squash
Oxfordshire generally enter a ladies team in the Over 40’s county competition (although not this coming year due to lack of availability). Anyone interested in playing county squash, please contact Helen Knowles – [email protected]

Carterton Squash Club
Elaine Finnigan at Carterton Squash Club is encouraging ladies and girls to take up squash.
Club morning sessions are held fortnightly on Sundays, 10.15am – 11.15am. All levels are welcome.
Carterton Squash Club also have ladies box leagues for those who want to play in between club mornings.

Henley Squash Club
Better Leisure and Henley Squash Club are running a series of Women’s only squash sessions with Jill Campion at Henley Leisure Centre, with the hope to increase female participation.
