England Squash have grants available to help promote and grow the game. This is a statement from ES laying out some of the detail:
We’re pleased to share that we have just launched the latest round of participation funding. We’ve widened the scope of this funding pot to open it up to clubs and venues, partners, as well as county associations.
You can apply for up to £2,000 to support projects that engage people who are currently less involved in squash, including:
- women and girls
- people from lower socio-economic groups
- ethnically diverse communities
- disabled people
You can find more information and the application details here: England Squash – Community Projects Fund.
We look forward to receiving your applications.
Clubs can apply directly themselves although OSRA can apply at county level if this helps you.
This is not exclusive by any means but some examples for funding could be:
- A junior day or event or programme at your club (covering court costs, marketing, a coach to be there, equipment)
- An open day or family day at your club encouraging parents and kids alike (covering court costs, marketing, a coach to be there)
- A schools programme where you work with kids from a school (covering court costs, equipment, a coach to be there)
