Women’s Squash
As we find out more information about Women’s Squash in the County, we will post updates here.
Please see below what we are currently aware of is being provided throughout the county.
Ladies squash evenings for 2025 at Abingdon Squash Club & Racquets, Thame.
For the first time ever, the ladies squash evening on Wednesday 29th January is full. We have never had so many sign-ups before, which is great news but we have had to close the sign-ups due to court space.
Every session is open to ladies from any club and of any standard – Helen arranges matches with players of a similar standard depending on who signs up. People then stay afterwards for food, a drink and a chat. The cost for each evening is £12.00 which includes you match, a meal and a drink.
The February session is only two weeks after the first session, so please sign up as soon as you can and please let Helen Knowles know if you can make any or all of the following sessions:
Wednesday 12th February 2025 at Racquets, Thame
Monday 24th March at Abingdon Squash Club (no Wednesday work in March, sorry)
Wednesday 9th April at Racquets, Thame
County Squash
Oxfordshire generally enter a ladies team in the Over 40’s county competition (although not this coming year due to lack of availability). Anyone interested in playing county squash, please contact Helen Knowles – [email protected]
